Airports to use when visiting Delray Beach or Boca Raton

BCT - Boca Raton Airport

When flying private Boca Raton Airport is as convenient as could be asked for. Located next to I95 near Spanish River blvd, BCT can accommodate most sized private planes. The runway is 6,276 feet long and 150 feet wide. The tower is manned daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM. This general aviation facility now accommodates international travelers with onsite customs clearance.

PBI - Palm Beach International

When flying commercial PBI is easily accessible directly from I95 and is located just west of downtown West Palm Beach. It is under 30 minutes by car from both Boca Raton and Delray Beach. This Airport is small enough to be pleasant and large enough to offer convenient flights to many destinations. Palm Beach International even has some pretty good pizza as far as airport standards go. Nick's Tomato Pie in Gate C is a great place to get a quick crunchy thin crust pizza and fast drink at the bar.

FLL - Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

When flying commercial FLL is the largest of the airports located close to Boca Raton and Delray Beach. FLL is located directly off 595 not far from the interchange with I95. This airport is not as user friendly as PBI, but it does offer more flights and more routes. Flying out of PBI and into FLL is a common practice by frequent fliers in the area. When flying into FLL it is best to avoid rush hour arrivals as this can extend driving times to your destination.
